Mass Effect
Max Payne 1 2 and especially 3 (thought I dont think many were too impressed with that one anyway)

I mean, he has TLoU, Uncharted, and GTA 5 in there...there are no words for that. Just go read books instead of playing games lol.

Some games that I love are the silent hunter games, its a ww2 submarine game. The last one, silent hunter 5 was a complete train wreck. The voice acting sound like porno stars from the 70s.

Is there any mods are the 4th one? I still play the 4th one, I am playing it right now in fact.

I played the 5th one the other day for the 1st time in years and I couldnt get out of the port, kept running into the walls. My sub was sunk on the walls, deleted the game.

The Witcher didn't like the combat style nor the method of story telling
Unreal original... maybe picky but this was unchangeable keybindings that just made it unplayable for someone used to a certain fps keybinding style.
Max Payne 1 and 2. don't get me wrong I liked the gameplay but hated the story (especially that nightmare level) and the new whiny max in the 2nd one. He whined like a little bitch the whole second game.

Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, stuff like that. Don't hate them, but they just leave me cold.
I don't like anything set in medieval times and that goes for movies and TV too.

Couldn't find the post of someone who said GTA V didn't let you complete things the way you wanted to do them. I was going to reply to that and say I feel it's more like an interactive movie. There's a goal and they're telling the story the way they want to tell it, but they're letting you experience it for yourself.

Can see where that opinion comes from though. The somewhat intro mission of destroying that one house, sure they could sandbox it and let players destroy the house in various ways, but I think most players will just take some boring, easy approach whereas instructing the player to pull it down with a truck allows (although yes, forces as well) for a more cinematic experience.

I'm actually replaying it now. Never got it finished and I don't want to rebuild my water loop on my old rig just to get the old save off of it.

What can I say, it was just sooo...boring.
And the fact that the characters rarely said things in the way I wanted it to come out did not help much either.
Some games give you the exact sentence as a choice, others give the intention of the remark as a choice like "sarcastic reply".
In ME's case the latter would have fit me much better because so often does my character pronounce the sentence as sarcastic when I meant it as genuine.
I also have no exact examples because its been too long, but yeah... I just remember the pace being terrible and the story making little sense and the game to a frustrating point not letting me do logical things aka not making any sense.

Well lets see, TLoU, boring and nonsensical, why does a brick break after one time use?
GTA5...the story was the most boring yet and it made no sense what so ever.
It really has been too long ago but man, I remember that I just wanted to for example kill some guy but nope.avi story said I could not because it would cause problems...and then later on...yeah now you can kill them even though nothing had changed.
And man that end mission where you have these super random half enemies to kill like they were end- bosses what bunch of bs.
And the Online part just needs more of everything and every update is so catered towards you buying those damn sharkcards with real money....F that man, make it a proper content having expansion pack then like they did with 4, not this borderline microtransaction bs.

anyway, thats my take on those
I mean this is not to say I have not sunk like 100 hours in GTA5 online....

and on the books part...there quite a few games out there that I do like and plenty of books I do not.

Coming from somebody who literally started gaming with the original Call of Duty games, I would agree with what your saying for every new CoD created after Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. It did become a money grab for the console kids. The original 3 Call of Duties on PC were actually really good, had a server list, and had competitive mods to make competitive gaming possible. Other than those originals, the new ones are a never ending yearly money grab, its basically a sports game at this point with a new yearly release. I popped into a competitive game being hosted on twitch and they were playing basketball or something within a CoD Match.... The game is at the point where it started as a WW2 game and now the new game will literally be based in Space.....

Anyways, one game I could never get into was Counter Strike..... no aiming.... no leaning around corners..... you are a stationary robot. But that's probably just from me playing the original CoD games with those features.

In the past, I've never cared for any game that had 3rd person POV, but Arkham Asylum changed my mind a little bit. Now...I'm willing to at least try the game before I give up on it as hopeless, but I still don't really care for it.

I actually probably game too much there's a thread elsewhere discussing some of our game passions and another one that shows how manysteam games some of us have heheh.
As for the GTA, I have a problem looking at the mafia as anything but a bunch of bullies.

Out of those I played, not hating, just don't get the praise:

GRID - out of all of the GRID series games most people say the first one is the best, I found it rather boring, especially with all assists off, boring and unmanageable

CS:GO - or as I like to call it, the worst money ever spent on a steam game, the hitboxes, the movement, grenades that don't kill, everything, that game irks me more than anything

Final Fantasy - well, any game in the series I suppose, the combat system really broke everything for me

Team Fortress 2 - such a sterile and overall bland game gameplay-wise, I won't ever understand the hype it has, though I do like the art style

Burnout Paradise - not a bad game itself, just not a good Burnout game. It did give the freedom but it took away any sense of progression

Fallout 4 - not much explanation for this one, dumbed down and straight up boring

7) Fallout New Vegas: Fallout 3 was better, I couldn't get into NV. Maybe it was the overly long tutorial starter mission. I liked Fallout 1 and 2 much better than either 3 or NV and I haven't played 4.

With you on FO: New Vegas there. I thought it was shit. The world felt cheap, only the city was a little bit 'cool'. But that engine...even at the time. So weak

And Pokemon GO. But that's a no brainer.
