Games you loved but everyone else hated?

On top of my head i'm going to say Destiny,as much as i criticize the game i actually enjoyed it and probably my most recent game i've actually clocked more than 200 hours on a game in past few years. A lot of people gave up after finishing the story and started bashing the game but i kept going until Taken King. I'm 1 trophy away from platting the game on PS4 which won't take me no more than an hour or 2 to get then the game will forever be collecting dust as i won't be getting the Rise of iron expansion.

It was and still is a very nice looking game but Crytek could have just stuck with the North Koreans as enemies and left Aliens out of it.

And it's amazing how it truly looks amazing when maxed out, and these days you don't need to spend a huge pile of cash to get a PC which can run it smoothly maxed out :laugh:

Not sure if anyone hated it but Microprose Samurai was an underrated mega game IMO. The parts were pretty pants but the whole was awesome. 10/10 would waste 100+ hrs again quite happily.

Also the whole story of Crysis would've not been possible without aliens.

But heck, I'm the type that enjoys slow strategy style games or turn base like Fire Emblem, Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, isometric RPGs with ability to pause, etc.

I usually enjoy those games too, and at first I wasn't a fan, but then I played on the hardest difficulty and it got so much better. It essentially turned it to a thinking mans FPS. One of the few games I actually finished.

Man, it's getting boring. Seriously the list is really long.

Devs/designers of these games probably won't ever see this and even if they will they wouldn't care but anyway I would like to thank them for these awesome games. I'm not game addicted but these games are cool. Absolutely awesome times, lots of fun and stuff. They taught me how to stand my ground and piss on general opinion/ranks and how to appreciate the things you love no matter what others say.

Well...that is pretty much entirely on par with everyone else

Game has a 7 on average, everyone loved the setting but also saw the flaws so it does not really belong on this list.
I am btw with you and the rest as well, loved the setting and the story was pretty intense at the start.

But only like what 3 different enemy types? the quick time events and the story in the end....yeah most def a 6/7 ish game
