Here are some of the first pictures of Lian Li PC-V3000, the company's upcoming flagship chassis. Characterized by Lian Li's favorite material, aluminium, the case features the company's signature design language, with dark, brushed-aluminium exteriors, and silvery aluminium interiors. The company released pictures of a prototype case, with a final release out later this year. Keeping up with the times (i.e. horizontal partition), the PC-V3000 features a vast twin-compartment layout, only that the motherboard layout is inverted (opens out at the right side, with the motherboard being positioned BTX-style).

The Lian Li PC-V3000 has room for ATX and E-ATX motherboards, with room for graphics cards with lengths in the neighborhood of 40 cm, and coolers with heights around 20 cm. The bottom compartment is further partitioned vertically, with the left-side compartment housing the PSU bay and a 3x 3.5-inch drive-cage; while the right-side compartment either serves up room for your liquid cooling gear (such as a 420 mm x 140 mm radiator), or additional 2.5-inch drives. The motherboard tray has three drive mounts on its reverse side. Cooling includes 3x 140 mm side intake, 120 mm rear exhaust, and 3x 120 mm top exhausts.

very nice, I would not mind having it but I will say that last sideways pic is bit sneaky leaving out the big metal nothing that is next to the motherboard.
They should really make the inside mat black

As much as I like color, I feel that raw metal has a nice feeling about it. Also, no chemical bath to achieve looks..

the motherboard being positioned BTX-style
Wow, didn't think I would see BTX mentioned in 2016. I believe it is more appropriately called (in 2016 at least) "inverted ATX." Kids these days probably don't even know that BTX was anyways.

I agree with metal being a nice to look at but idk on the inside of the case if you have a window its too reflective, imo it should be about the parts inside not the metal they sit on :p

The V2000 could fit 12 drives stock and 20 drives with two optional cages. This one looks to throw that capacity out the window.

^^It's ironic that they clear anodize the bits but don't bother to add any color. Why not color it since yer already anodizing to begin with? It boggles the mind.

The side panel is held on by little (looks like plastic) "grabbies" and, what, prayers?

I've never actually seen a Lian Li in real life, so I can't judge too harshly, but they always seem to be about 100% over-priced. Has anybody here owned one for a few years or more?

I'm using a PC 7H and it is a great case except that cable management is stupidly poor.

Lian Li are like the Alpha Romeo or Lancia of PC cases (I know, car comparisons :/) they make great products which often have serious flaws

They're like the Marcello Gandini of case designs lol, who coincidentally designed the Stratos. And like teh Countach, though an incredible car to look at it is a no where near as good to drive. This has much in common with Lian Li, which are great cases to look and marvel at, yet are not a pleasure to work on.

Four out of five cases at my house are Lian-Li. The other is an very old Antec, back from when I liked them.

I agree with the above comments. We love certain aspects of Lian-Li cases so much that we also welcome their obstacles. Like if my wiring is as beautiful as the case, I'll reach a new level of enlightenment.

I like it, i'd rather see the interior anodised, but they may well do this with the finished product

the ceiling fan mounts look a bit restrictive though, it annoys me when they do this on cases that also have a fan grille at the rear to be less restrictive on that one
