the 780 Ti has higher memory bandwidth than 980, and OC'ed will run about the same.

I'd say the 980 would be more efficient though.

The 780 Ti uses about 70-80 more watts than the 980 but it doesn't amount to very much on the power bill for average gaming unless electricity is expensive where he lives. And, yeah, EVGA makes great cards.
