Are flamethrower soldiers supposed to be stupidly OP?

For some reason I get better performance with a single 980ti than I do using two with DX11? It's weird because during the Beta I could get 99.9 fps with vsync on at 1440p using ultra settings. Now I have to set low settings to get 99.9 fps when I use sli. I am using the newest game ready driver & tried nvidia inspector with no luck.

Anyone else with dual gpu nvidia rig chime in please.

Yeah. For instance I'm playing in 4K completely maxed out aside from AA. I get 80-110fps using both of my heavily overclocked 980tis at all times. I have to disable vsync though. If I try to lock the game @ 60fps using SLI for some unknown reason my framerate will dip below 60fps (even into the 40's)! which makes NO sense. Game needs a patch to sort it out. In the meantime I'm playing with vysnc off. Looks amazing in 4k.

Worst case scenario -- im in a house and an enemy runs in, If hes on full health then im absolutely utterly fucked. I hit him 3 or 4 times with the shitty rifle and leave him on so little health but its not enough to get the kill. The starter rifle really needs a buff. On so many occasions ive run into the enemy and got my ass handed to me because of that crappy rifle.

yup, i prefer playing as medic and i am always outgunned. you have to play in a squad if you want to survive as medic.

Just finished downloading the game. Playing at 1080P 144Hz with 133% resolution scale(~100 fps average), everything ultra with fxaa high + my sweetfx profile, this game is beautiful. Week-end is about to be awesome.

LVL 27 here.... and i said already all the other classes beat the rifles on the medic one and is not that the meds rifles suck is just the innacurate they are in close combat/ hip fire. i use the Mondragon scope and sniper but ive seen myself an improvement with the Selbstlader Sharpshooter for any map. My advise count your bullets very well and take good aim. Even though be killed by a smg or a lmg from mid/ long rage from 5 shots .... that sucks. EA promised not doing that in this BF but was all promises i think. just question here... if the mondragon has almost 30-33 hitpoints how many shots you need to take down a guy???? i ve seen bullets going thru people in front of me no hit markers 4..5...6...7. shots and nothing.

You're playing too aggressive if you're losing to fire rights with the medic rifle. Can't be the first anywhere or you will get gunned down.

I hate the stupid desert map with 3 flags. Such a horrid map.

High vs ultra - it plays well but starts to tank at 3.5gb vram usage. Because 4gb isnt really 4gb ya know

im used to play aggressive in BFH.... sometimes i forget about it. But my blood boils when i see more than half of my team sitting in one position doing nothing and not even spotting.

I still see the weird rubber band effect that happens sometimes when a person has been killed the player is stretched out and then disappears. Players still get stuck in objects after being killed and flail around.

Not a bug. Feature. Got stuck in the roof of a house yesterday, Dave was looking at my flailing body, and my death cam showed my head on top with a 4 foot neck. 10/10, would flail again.

The medic is easily the most OP class in the game rn.
The Sebeblaster 1916 is a 3 shot body shot at any range, plus high cap magazine and fast reload. If you are having trouble hitting people slow down your shots. There is a rythm with it that will give you quick accurate takedowns.
The starter gun is inferior, nut not terrible. It sucks at longer range. I ran bull iron sights and reduced ads zoom and had success with it.

If we are talking underpowerd, look at support guns.

They seem to have nerfed light tanks enough that I dont see them wrecking all game anymore.
Heavy tanks are a bit of an issue. I'd say a 25 percent armor reduction would balance it.

Anyone did the Pilot training? (Singleplayer) It is a beatiful map in the Alps, that i love so much, but... I really cannot control a plane with a gamepad, it is impossible to conclude the training. And as of today the game is incompatible with joysticks! (Smells like the first days of Xbox intoxicating PC gaming)

Joystick compatibility has been broken since BC2 BF2 was the last BF game to have proper joystick support

Joystick compatibility has been broken since BC2 BF2 was the last BF game to have proper joystick support

Also if BF1 is like BF4, it has an auto centering function built into the game making joysticks useless.

Multiplayer so far seems fine but trying to play single player just to check it out and the game crashes every time. I can play 15 minutes or one minute but in the end...crash. Of course I have to start the single player over each time from the beginning too....fug.

then the only option is to buy a "xbox gamepad"-like joystick (I had one in the past, from Saitek, called Aviator) I swear I cannot follow another plane with a tiny pad!
May must try some emulator software...
in EA forums there is already lot of protest because of this... unforgivable, as the flight aspect of the game has increased....
