The problem is getting little weird .
By pressing shutdown from windows, Monitor goes black but all other parts remains wake.
For solving this, few steps I applied which I’ve come to know from various threads, forum, user feedback etc. These are,
# Disabled Intel services from System Configuration options. [Attached Image 1]
# Disabled fast startup from Windows & Bios. [Attached Image 2]
# Uninstalled ASUS AI Suite
But sadly neither any of those get the problem solved o_O . Only one thing hasn’t done yet which is UPDATING The BIOS. Should i do it?
If anyone has something in mind that could rescue me from this issue then Please share your valuable opinion.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "wake"?
I assume you mean everything still has power, not that the CPU cooler fan is still running or anything along those lines. If things are just still powered, this is typical and normal. The only way to remove power from the system completely would be to either pull the cord from the PSU or flip the switch on it.

Sounds to me more like a Windows issue. What I'm gathering from the poster is that he initiates shut down via Windows, monitors go blank and power down, but the computer itself never continues the shut down and power off.

Have you checked the Windows event viewer system events for any info?

used to see this a lot in windows xp/2003 server. was almost always related to the write cache on the disk not flushing fully.
haven't see it on win10.

I had the same problem with a new Gigabyte mobo.
What this board does is when 'off', it continues to supply 5v to the usb ports so one can recharge/etc things when computer is off.
I dont know about Asus boards, but mine has a setting in bios for turning this off. Something about 'ErP' or similar.

Hope this helps, , ,

Sorry! May be I've made the issue confusing.
By stating "Wake" I meant each & everything inside casing (including cpu cooler radiator fan, case fan, gpu fan) remains powered. Those thing supposed to be stopped right?

In case of LEDs, only mobo led exists, for which i don't have any complain. But Spinning case fan, gpu fan, cpu cooler radiator fan after windows shut down is definitely weird i guess. Even NZXT logo supposed to be shut down.
I guess i've made my self clear enough to understand you my problem.

I guess the issue you had faced once mainly related with USB ports still getting powered despite of system being shut.
But my issue is different from you. When i press shut down system from windows, monitor shut down himself normally. Then all case fans keep them self spinning, gpu keep himself running, CPU cooler led logo and radiator fan keep working as well. So do you think is there any way that i can relate my problem with yours and get this problem solved by following your suggestion?

Click on the "Start" button
Mouse over "Computer", then right click it, and then select "Manage". Click "Yes" if you are prompted by UAC.
This will open up the Computer Management console, in here, on the left pane, click on Event Viewer, then click on Windows Logs, then click on System
See if there are any warnings (yellow triangle with exclamation point in it) or errors (stop sign [red octagon] with X in it) and look at those to see if anything pertains to shut down.

I checked the event viewer data baase as you said.
Tons of infos stored there which is literally not possible to check one by one. So i checked last two days stored data and found nothing that could lead me to my posted issue. Please see the attached image.
Any idea what should i do now?

You don't need to look at all of the events, only the ones that occur around the date/time that you initiate shutdown of your computer. Just look at all those that occur around that time and see if any are for services or applications that are hanging while shut down is commencing.

Try to disable the Win10 fastboot, dunno if u have UEFI setup installed, i have a legacy rom install and the pc will not shut down correctly if i had the fastboot option enable in win10.

EDIT: u already disabled it, but try too switch to legacy rom in the bios instead UEFI.

Check this:
Control Panel > Power Options > click "Choose what the power buttons do" > confirm it says Shut Down when you press the power button.

next this:
Power Options > Edit Plan Settings > Change when the computer sleeps > Change advanced power settings > scroll down/expand Sleep > check Sleep after setting and Allow Wake timers setting.

also check Power buttons and lid settings are good too.
