Still no BF1 performance. AMD cards perform too good to be on TPU's game list?

We won't have a BF1 performance article, but it will be included in the regular benches starting with next review

The single-player experience is epic, and definitely more entertaining than the BF1 campaign.

Shhh! Don't say that, you'll put certain people's noses out of joint  After all, "everyone" knows that CoD is "generic crap". ;) Great review, as usual.

Steam finished decypting it a little while ago and I can't wait to play it tomorrow when I'm not so knackered after work. :)

I have just one CPU for the test system, but lots of graphics cards :)

Looks like GTX1060 is already aging terribly badly. Just like a true nVidia product.

Haterz.

It's funny. I have an Oris automatic watch. My wife has a pretty TAG watch (F1 version I think, I bought her the damn thing). My watch is fully mechanical and hers is quartz. The TAG was £100 more but it's, in my view, a battery driven watch so keeps good time but isn't truly a Swiss watch. I have to adjust mine every 4-6 weeks for a couple of minutes of time - my mechanism runs fast. Neither of us regrets our watches and we both take the piss - I taunt her 'battery' watch and she asks how my timekeeping is.

Point of story? Our watches are 'things'. They're not worthy of an emotional interpersonal relation, such as hatred or pride. I like my watch because of it's engineering - she likes hers because it's pretty (Black ceramic and steel with small diamonds). But I don't get angry at them, or at other brands.

Why do you people feel so aggrieved? You buy a thing and if that thing works for you - why give a shit about another brand? And you buy a thing at time stamp 'A'. It still plays all games released at time stamp 'A' years down the line. It might not improve as much as another brand does but that's not a reason to get pissy.

And for the much required balance - I'm waiting on Vega and Zen before making my next purchase decisions.

And for the OP, good to see I can play a game I'll buy in 3 months from a CD key retailer when its far cheaper.

There we go, thank you for bringing a clear difference between the 3 and 6 GB variations of the 1060 - I see you finally got your hands on the cards :)!

As always, very thankful for the time and effort you put into these things W1z.

I'd describe a hater as someone who needlessly moans or snipes about the opposition. I think my 'quotees' fulfill that criteria. I'd also describe an apologist as someone who defends haters.

And besides - you'd know one of my rants if you saw it. I tend to rant less these days, life's too short to get angry at tech companies - unless it's Facebook. I fucking hate FB.

But I shan't come back to this thread as I'm so far off topic it's almost criminal. FWIW, it's nice to see Fury X doing so well. Finally getting to use it's hardware well.

No, it's legitimate. This red-green thing has gotten out of hand. It's absolutely absurd.
