Anyone running this mobo using SLI. The reason I ask is because its recommended to use the ATX4P connector for extra power when running 2 way SLI or greater and in this particular board its nearly impossible to use other than a FULL chassis.

If so, do you have the connector plugged in or just running SLI right off the PCI power?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Appreciate your response. A gigabyte rep actually confirmed what you just said a little while back. I should have my second gtx1080 on its way.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
The manual will tell you if it is REQUIRED or OPTIONAL... but looks like you have the answer. :)

It actually doesn't really say much except that its "recommended" for two or more cards. You know manuals, they like to leave things up to the users interpretations lol.

Regardless I ordered a 90 degree molex adapter to try and fit it. The PSU has a tab on it to hold it in place and my case being MID size, makes it impossible to use a regular molex.

Thanks for your help though. :toast:
