BitFenix announces the Shogun Chassis. During Computex 2016 we showcased four of our brand new chassis, which also included Cape. With the input from some of the world's renowned enthusiasts, we have developed and tweaked the Cape to be an extremely desirable chassis with many novel features. Strength, Power and Absolute Control makes you a champion. Carrying on the theme of simplicity from our famous Shinobi Chassis, Shogun is the newest flagship design model from BitFenix. The all new BitFenix Shogun is the most capable command station that gives you the edge in the battle for victory. May it be performance or looks, Shogun is the best of both worlds. With the top level aesthetics, novel features and extreme compatibility BitFenix Shogun is one of the most advance and user friendly chassis in the market.

Dual Tempered Glass
BitFenix Shogun features two high-quality tempered glasses on either side to showcase the beautiful components. With semi tinted and fully tinted tempered glass you can hide the cables behind the motherboard tray without compromising on aesthetics. The semi tinted glass can showcase the components while giving it a lite shade to emphasize the premium looks.

Full Aluminum Top and Bottom Panels
To add to the premium elegant look of the Shogun, the top and bottom is wrapped around with thick curved aluminum panels. This gives strength as well as clean look while keeping the dust away from the PSU as well as the top ventilation mesh.

BitFenix Quick Custom Design Technology
Behind the eye catching panels is a spacious frame with 'BitFenix Quick Custom Design Technology' that can sport modular design for high end hardware. BitFenix Shogun supports up to EATX motherboards with customizable Motherboard tray for easy cable routing. The included Quick Custom EATX Shield can be used only when a EATX motherboard installed to route cables neatly or to hide the cables behind the HDD Bays. The chassis is designed with 25mm of space behind motherboard tray and plenty of cable tie spots for cable management.

With the 'Quick Custom Design', the hard drive cages supporting up to 6 HDDs or 8 SSDs can be easily removed to accommodate any other component or moved to any location on the mounting rails to satisfy your needs. It can host up to radiators of size 360mm or 280mm on the top panel, 280mm or 240mm on the front and 140mm or 120mm on the rear panel. These can be easily accessed with the snappy front and top panels that also come with dust filtered ventilations that can be easily washed along with the panel itself.

BitFenix GPU Safe Technology
BitFenix Shogun is optimized for high end systems with extreme water cooling for VR or 4K gaming dedicated systems. It supports up to three graphic cards with included 'GPU Safe' Graphic card supports. They can be easily configured to support different GPUs. This removes any possible damage that could happen to the electronic components due to bending. Shogun supports GPUs up to 410mm long and PSUs of up to 250mm (Can customize to fit longer PSUs by moving the modular HDD cages).

Quick Custom SSD Chroma
The new SSD Chroma technology features SSD illumination module with an RGB controller and along with the Shogun comes two all new SSD Chroma Modules. Thanks to Quick Custom design, the LED strip inside the Chroma modules can be easily adjusted to light up the SSD from side or from the bottom. The whole bracket can be easily and quickly removed thanks to 'BitFenix Quick Custom Design'. The included Chroma controller supports the two SSD Chroma and Alchemy 2.0 Magnetic RGB Strips. Using the hardware button, you can change to six preset modes or connect to an "ASUS Aura" ready motherboard to cycle through millions of colors and different modes.

based on what? seems there is plenty gap at the bottom of the front panel to let air in an the entire thing is on a stand so it seems bottom to top airflow will be good as well.

Based on that it has a flat front and top panel with only an air gap on one side

Edit: nevermind about the air gap only on one side it has side vents. But even then these style of cases always have terrible airflow

idk man, again, if you look at the last image you see the entire case is raised on a stand so fans at the bottom of the case would work well and if you look at the side picture you see just how far that front panel extends outwards and it even has grills on the side

Yea it probably could work but it would still be terrible. Just like all the cases released recently

I don't think airflow is going to be THAT bad here... no worse than plenty of other cases anyway. No PSU shroud is an epic fail though, and I don't get this whole displaying of SSD's, especially as they seem to have favoured that over hiding the PSU. Makes no sense aesthetically.

Besides, the colour scheme is wrong here. It's a common misconception that Ninjas wore black... they didn't and were they alive today would laugh at the idea. They had to blend in, so they would dress as farmers, workmen etc... even if they were skulking around at night they would wear dark blue, not black.
