Not ever!

I just got a shitton of defective Genius peripherals for repair, and I've seen what they are made of.

Their membrane keyboards are so flimsy, the contact surface of the inner plastic sheet may slip sideways and disable some keys even before a customer can bring a KB from store to the house.
Their optical mice (especially with "bluEye" tech) die in 50% of cases from LED failure (even the cheapest $0.01 chinese LEDs live a lot longer).

I'm not even gonna start ranting about Genius wireless products. I've seen at least a dozen RF sets in which a receiver actually melted inside a USB port due to controller failure.

Even at $27.90, you are still overpaying.
