Wow I thought my card took a crap lol,

Seriously, ok have you removed the card from the pci-e slot and then reseat the card?

And Sapphire and there dam bios"s have you gone to there web site and checked if there is a new bios to fix it?

To me it looks like to low of voltage to the memory

EDIT: goto the Sapphire site and submit a ticket and ask if they have an updated bios, also send them the included link to your you tube so they can see.. I did that with MSI and had a new card 2 days later.. They don't like negative videos on their cards ;)

Hello, again!

I have submitted a ticket to Sapphire but they said:
Dear Sir:
After check video, we can not clearly understand your problem. Could you describe more detail about cards symptom?

And I came back with more details to Sapphire:
If computer enters in sleep/idle mode the image is getting blurry when I start using it. Unless I restart the computer the image remains blurry. In the first part of the video you see that the computer can't be used because of the image, after the restart the image is ok.
I think it is a problem of video card, because before I used two Sapphire R9 290C tri-x in crossfire without no problems. After I changed the video cards to Rx480, I reinstalled the operating systems.
So the power management of this video card is the issue.
Still waiting for an answer after this.

Starting three days ago the mouse pointer randomly changes shape like in the picture bellow.

I have not seen an issue like that. Do you have sapphire trixx installed? I had a couple graphical glitches when I used that. After uninstall it was fine.

I used to use Trixx all the time but gave up after the omega driver came out.

And I did try it again on the 480 and yeah, it does do weird shit to the card.. Un-installed and into the recycle bin it went AGAIN

I just use WattMan.

Lately I've been talking to Sapphire support and they are not eager to admit there is a problem.
It is frustrating because this is not my first video card, so far I had 50 video cards with high-end GPU-ATI/AMD, most of them from Sapphire.

I made another video with BIOS set in default position(1266MHz) to see what happens.

Hi there!

Just noticed this thread, as i also have a Sapphire 480 nitro OC 4GB.

I don't seem to have the problem you describe in the 1st video but i do experience mouse corruption and i've posted about it here. It's quite similar to what's depicted in post #3 of this thread.

Never occured to me the problem might be with the card, as i thought it was either the monitor or the mouse.

I have not mentioned this in my topic but i can underclock just fine, until it returns from sleep, @ which point it reloads the default settings due to crash in the radeon ReLive application (latest version). @ 1st, i thought i was being too ambitious with what i was setting in wattman but it still happens when i only change the slight OC of 1305 into 1266, so i stopped doing it.

Hello, again!
I've been away these past days.
I have received a reply from Sapphire support:

1. The SN that you provided is not correct , our SN must start as A or Z and follow of 12 digit numbers.
2. There cannot find any information of your MB from ASUS website . but only M5A99FX PRO R2.0 with 2501 BIOS of 2014/5/14.
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD-platform-Products/
3. Did you update to V16.12.2 and restore back to factory default ? (see the attached.)
4. You can contact your retailer to double check if the card also see the same issue at their side , if yes , they will help to go warranty service.

:))))))))

and my comment:

1. After several weeks of discussions they said that SN of video card is not correct, come on, this video card is registered to them.
2. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FX_R20/ ......is hard to find.
3. I explained to them that I changed three drivers.
4. This it was the best answer.

Hello!

As you can see in the following video I have this issue.
It occurs when the computer returns from idle.
I tested with three different drivers, the same results,.... and not all the time.

Don't panic. I've got this effect (blueless screen) mostly but not always exiting World of Warcraft. It happens since ReLive drivers. If this happened then I restart WoW and the blue color appears in login screen. Then I logout and everything is fine. So this effect is because of a driver bug.
Just for clearance: I own a Gigabyte HD7950 Winforce in an Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0 with FX8320@4,5GHz.
