Raijintek introduced the Metis Plus cube-type mini-ITX aluminium chassis. A successor to the original Metis launched in 2014, the Metis Plus comes with an updated brushed aluminium finish with diamond-cut edges, a 120 mm top fan mount, an extra 2.5-inch drive mount along the base, and an updated 3.5-inch/2.5-inch (1x 3.5-inch convertible to 2x 7 mm-thick 2.5-inch) drive tray design. The rest of its specifications are unchanged from the original Metis.

Measuring 190 mm x 277 mm x 254 mm (WxDxH), and weighing in at 2.12 kg, the Metis Plus features an "upside-down" (left-side) oriented mini-ITX motherboard tray, with clearance for graphics cards as long as 17 cm, and CPU coolers as tall as 16 cm. It features a concealed standard ATX PSU bay, with an AC receptacle and internal cord conveying power to the PSU. The case can either hold four 2.5-inch + one 3.5-inch drives at a time, or two each of 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drives. The case comes with a pre-installed front 120 mm intake fan with LED lighting to match the case color. The case comes in 7 color options. The company didn't reveal pricing.

I like it. Great for the wife or daughter. Small form factor and elegant design.

If only we could buy this case in Canada. This would be perfect for a friend of mine.

I own the original Metis and it is a great case. The only fault is that it has horrible airflow if you try to put high end hardware inside. The top vent above is absolutely necessary for high end gear. I just wish they centered it more. I think that would help airflow better

Well this solved the metis' throttling gpu problem with the top vent.

yeap, and if you use it as exhaust where does it pull air from?

Pretty sure the top should be intake and the rear as exhaust

Remove the gimmicky window and put a mesh ventilation instead so you aren't stuck with loud reference blowers.

Nah, that would be poor airflow in this case. I have one.

You shouldn't use it as an exhaust. The airflow works best with it being an intake.

For example, this is one example of someone getting the best airflow out of the case you probably can get.

This is an older picture of my current metis.

The metis is not a case built for great airflow. It is built to be as compact as possible while still fitting a GPU. The metis does have horrible airflow. To make up for that, you have to force all the hot air out through the psu and side vent. Even then, the gpu overheats. My 1060 sits at about 90c with this setup.

The Metis Plus improves the airflow by giving the gpu an intake vent. This means you can fit even more powerful hardware in an extremely compact case.

There are more compact cases out there, but they are much more expensive. If you don't see the point of this case, then it is not for you. It is a cheap and very compact case made out of nice materials. I really like this case.

I still look at my pictures and I think it's outrageous that I put those fan grills that reduced so much airflow yet the temperatures are still in line.
