Why can't I find the Couchmaster to purchase anywhere except Steiger (who wants $50 for shipping)?

Is there a better alternative that I don't know about?

I just finished up my basement gaming room and have a couch and a projector, but I need something to put everything on. The Couchmaster seemed like a good idea, but it's barely available anymore.

Well, the obvious answer is the product was not very popular so the maker discontinued production. Considering it cost €130 (~$135) plus shipping, it really is no wonder why it didn't sell well.

I'd say get yourself a 1/2 sheet of quality plywood and make your own.

I wish I had time to design and build something like that. Nerdytec is way more expensive because I believe it ships from Germany.
