Ft05 is the smallest design of a RV02, I like it better, because its very compact. At nowaday we dont need ODD anymore...

Yeah I liked the looks of the FT05 but it was twice the price of my RV02 at the time I've had my RV02 for a number of years now and it's seen 4 mobo's , 5 CPU and 5 GPU upgrades along with drives and memory and an USB3.0 case update

I dont know why Silverstone wasnt listed in there. I loved their TJ08-E, FT02 and RV03 designs. All other cases are just slightly different variations of the standard ATX Pc case. Though I have to say In Win and Phanteks cases have made me go WOW a few times. Still wouldnt make me change away from my FT02-E.

i think the vote should include timeframe. and it is an incredibly subjective question.

- regarding silverstone - tj08-e, ft02 and rv03 are all from 2011.
- lian li has been in a considerable slump for the last 5-10 years, making boring or dumb cases with no innovation. we are only seeing cool stuff from them again for the last year or so.
- fractal design actually does innovate but in their limited niche with handful of products and not veering too far off from atx spec. a lot of what they do does not get visibility due to their conservative design.
- cooler master has had few bright flashes (elite 110 comes to mind) but generally boring and no innovation.
- thermaltake has received a lot of justified flak for copying some of their designs but they do deserve some praise for certain cases like tower or core p3/p5.
- corsair and bitfenix are making good cases but there is little innovation there.

the remaining one - in win - has in my opinion been the most influential lately when it comes to design cues that have extended beyond their own cases.
there are actually two different sections of in win, one is typical chinese cheap case maker but their design division is doing awesome stuff.
especially notable is the 900 series - 901, 904, 909 which started the current craze of tempered glass cases.
but also the more esoteric ones like d-frame, h-frame or s-frame that are very cool design-wise.

And your point is ...... If done right a case can last a very long time take me with my RV02B-W I've had it through several builds because it's a great case I've bought the USB3.0 upgrade kit for it to bring it upto date and I'm sure Silverstone will do an USB3.1+C upgrade at some point
the only thing missing is side on HDD racks instead of the front to back ones but seeing as I don't tend to replace HDD's to often it's not a biggie oh and I upgraded the 3x 180mm fans in from the standard one that come with the case to AP181 fans (Air Penetrator 180mm fans) for alot better airflow barely audible on high but pushes 330CFM of cool air from bottom to top

While Im not far of Silverstone, I do own RV-01 and that was pretty innovative case for me. Despite being bit old.

Lian-Li never stroke me as being super original with their designs, but I like em cause their designs are mostly (or at least some) very clean and really nice looking. Not sure I would give em 2nd place when it comes to originality.

I think when only originality matters, it would be Thermaltake (some crazy designs and concepts), Silverstone and CoolerMaster. That said, my next case is going to be Lian-Li, cause originality is nice, but thick aluminium brushed metal is nicer..
