ppl are here to offer advise. I posted something simple as a simple BIOS name rather your long drawn out BIOS name.
Another thing.. I had a bricked card to and it was a 290.. All programs except the one I posted wouldn't even register the card or see it.. I offer advice and nothing more.
And
@eidairaman1 no need to apologize. It was just a mistake and you were trying to help..
the problem is we have know way of knowing if atiflash even sees the bios because hes not following proper procedure and just randomly typing commands NO thats not how you trouble shoot
first thing first ensure the atiflash -i accually lists the card > adjust command accordingly don't go moving stuff around and changing cards from slot to slot until you know that atiflash can accually see the card the worst thing you can do when helping somebody that doesn't know what they are doing is give them a bunch of random slightly differing commands to try
I keep all the filenames intact for the sake of copy pasta I said he could rename it if it wants it doesn't matter what the file name of the .rom is
@op as I said run atiflash -i if it lists the card proceed to step 2
the syntax is this -f forces the flash -p # indicates what device to attempt to flash -unlockrom unlocks the flash chip for writing
so atiflash -unlockrom THEN atiflash -f -p 0 Hawaii.rom would wriite Hawaii.rom to device 0
if atiflash -i indicates that the card is ' 1' change the above command
if it doesn't list the card don't panic you can try anouther secondary card but usually that means the bootblock for the bios chip is trashed and you will need to pin short it to get it available for writing.
this is because that section of the bios rom responsible for talking to the rest of the bios and defining what the bios chip is how big it is and what write interface it supports if its trashed or woefully incorrect it won't report to atiflash and is essentially dead to the world. in my experience dual legacy/uefi boards are especially prone to this due to the way the bios image is segmented if you flash a non segmented image
And then only option is to try a pin-short or a full manual reprogramming using a flash programmer
but fear not if you find a decent repair shop they should be-able to reflash the chip for you just make sure you specify the will need to have a flash programmer
