So it's not just those big greedy a-holes at NVIDIA.:laugh:
But it's always so funny to mock on Nvidia. hahaha

They're still a asshole company and most company's arent to be trusted anyway. This changes nothing. Honestly, the only company I have a feeling for being decent is AMD. 'nuff said

edit: Nvidia is doing it, AMD not. NGREEEDIIAAAA!

Company is called greedy because we are not allowed to make money off the resale of a free bundled product.

The hypocrisy is real

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Taking away the ability to sell free games....

Or...

A company that has marketed performamce and hasn't achieved it in generations...

Tough call... ;)

Sad what we are forced to pick on due to the current state of the union. :)

I don't understand why anyone feels NVidia would be the driving force behind this. The whole reason for this is to sell more games. NVidia is not in the business of selling games. I can't see this as being anything but developer driven.

Maybe because nvidia went Intel/apple-mode since GTX 10 series was released? Who likes high prices and stupid Titan X with shitty old blower coolers? They are just greedy. Amd needs to deliver and end this nonsense for good.

You're completely missing the point. NVidia gains 0 from making sure that random guy #5 doesn't benefit from being able to sale the game that came with his graphics card. If anything the opposite could be argued as a guy that gets an AAA title that runs less than stellar on his generations old graphics card would be incentivized to upgrade in order to get it to run better. This is all on the publishers wanting to sell as many units as possible.

If it was publisher driven the Publisher would sell as many codes to Nvidia as they can. That's it they get their money.

Nvidia probably said.... Well we dont want to buy "X" amount of codes because were not sure everyone who buys those cards will use them and we could save money. So we will buy codes as they are redeemed. Lets use our GFE client and combine it with GFN buying feature to verify & redeem and you the publisher get your money.

All it needs is a slight correction to apply perfectly to this company.

This is actually a good thing as it protects both the consumer and the game manufacturer. Do you really want people out there selling the games they got for free for purchasing a video card?

I was fine with it, was a good way to pick up game cheaper than full price. People sell for usually 2 reasons: they already pre-ordered/purchased the game, or they bought more than 1 video card and have code(s) to spare.

right, you are fine with it, but obviously the game developers and video card re-sellers are not. Now IMO nothing should stop people from giving those games away for free though.
