7950 3GB enough for Overwatch ?

I for some reason fell into the Overwatch abyss

I have a 7950 and I play on the max res of my screen (Dell 25" 2515H) and I get 50-70fps and no lags.

Is upgrading the card worthwhile if only this game is in use and no other ?

I wouldn't worry about it. I'd save money over a gpu upgrade right now anyway.

See I didn't know that if it works it works. I thought better GPU's make the same settings look better or something but if I was wrong, well that is great news

Nope, it'll all looks the same in graphics quality, with a faster GPU you just get higher fps, thats all.

HD7950 = R9 380 in a nutshell.

HD7950 has more raw power (more memory bandwidth), but newer manufacturing tech on R9 380 and AMD driver optimization for later cards will probably make R9 380 slowly but continually faster...

R9 285 is R9 380, 7950 is R9 280, 7970 is R9 280X.

Not entirely true, depends what you're starting from. A higher performing GPU could allow larger resolutions and ability to run AA etc...

No need to upgrade when you are already hitting fps regions in Overwatch that match your monitor's refresh rate. Current gen GPUs are basically more of the same, whereas both Vega & Volta will actually offer new architectures and interesting new features.

if you mean the software that comes with the AMD driver ,,,yes. There are other overclocking tools such as Sapphire Trixx or MSI afterburner.
