Hi all..so i'm looking at getting a ultrabook for mainly using it for watching youtube/1080p videos and reading walkthroughs/trophy guides when im playing on the PS4 but its also for light Android app development for work purpose if im on the move. So im looking at the Asus Zenbook UX310 as i really like the aesthetics, its light and perfect size for my needs..
So onto the question the 2 models im looking at are the i3 6100u and i5 6200u but is there any actual gains from the i5 model which only has turbo upto 2.8ghz? Looking at benchmarks the gains very small..so i'm just seeking some opinion if there is any actual benefits.
Thanks :)

Both chips are the same except the i5 has turbo and the i3 does not.
Single threaded performance is better with the i5 (2.3GHz vs 2.8GHz) but multi threaded performance is the same.

I'd say if the price is pretty similar between both, get the i5 but if they ask for a high premium then it's not worth it.

If you have the cash, I'd go with the more expensive one, it has an i5, 8GB RAM + 256GB SDD, all double from what the cheaper options offers.
But hey that's just my opinion.

Hope you can make the right choice for yourself.
