TPU Site issues 2016/17

Every time i look at this page after a new post
I get a fault page that Flashes through to quickly to screen capture or read
Grey Background with TPU on it the Rest of the text flashes by to fast to read before correct page loads
does not happen with page reload
Anoying but livable with

Next time it happens, run a tracert to tpu and post the screenshot, or send it to me in a pm

Which browser? Try to describe steps to reproduce, not making 100% sense yet.

"New Alert flashes up."
click Alert
Web page Fault page ( all black with red stripe ) and fault text loads and page immediately Refreshes and loads correct page.
takes mili seconds from start to finish
Only notice on this thread
Does not occur if you reload page or switch to different thread then Return
Seems Randomly occurring
Definitely not a major problem compared to recent events

Yeah it was messed up for me about 20 minutes ago. Not only that but it uploaded a massive three or four page garble of code instead of the image itself. The image link was in the beginning of the garbled text but as I mentioned there was three or four pages of gibberish afterward and locked my iPhone up for quite a while then I moved over to my PC, which seem to speed the process up significantly also on Firefox current. Also don't know why but the image upload it sideways as I wear on my iPhone it's the correct orientation

i havent been able to recreate my issue, but if i had to guess, the garbled text was caused by the freeze during upload..

oh you co-locate? yea since you basically are your own sysadmin guess that makes sense to run things in containers because it will be easier for you to manage.

The RedHat guys love it but they are generally in the devops field where it makes sense. It isn't perfect yet. Probably needs a few more years to mature IMO.

I concur what @HTC said, pictures can take a lot of time to finally load. It can be fast then slow then fast again.

Tracert (tpucdn.com) once did not get a response from vl303-c8-14-b4-1-sa.pnj1.choopa.net [64.237.60.18].

It took 37 seconds to load 500 Kb from techpowerup.com/reviews/Rosewill/RK-9000_V2_RGB/3.html

That pretty much sums it up, though i've never noticed that long of a loading period. Some times a page loads right away but the next time i visit it the pics take a while to load, and the next time it loads right away again, or vice versa: very inconsistent in behaviour. Thought it could be my system but maybe it's not: dunno.

we distribute the requests over several different servers, in theory it is possible that one server is slower than the others, and your request might randomly end up on that server.

Didn't notice if these happened more @ a certain time then @ others, tbh. I'll start paying attention to that.
