Being a longtime, old time GR veteran, I always get excited when a new chapter arrives, but since a long long time I am always delusioned because it gets more and more kiddy. Anyway I have played them all, not bought them all, even the free to play variants. Nuf said, Wildlands has arrived with huge maps and different gameplay. We have to test it. The beta can be downloaded right now. You have to launch Ubiplay and go to News and click on a "Accept" button there. It is not like The Division or For Honor that showed up in your games if you were suscribed to the alpha or beta. We'll talk after testing it, after returning to extraction point!

Specs:
minimum Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX660 / AMD R9 270X
recommended video card: Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX970/GTX 1060 or AMD R9 390/RX480

Just signed up for the beta. The game seems pretty cool. I like the drone gameplay.

As said above, please go to "News" inside the Ubiplay launcher, there is a "Accept" button. Strange, indeed.

why? even when free, is it the software or the game design? it's not fair to not give a chance on each new release
I'm not going to install "virtual game store" on my PC for each game. If devs wants to sell a game, they really should put it on Steam.

most ubi games are on steam (& proceed to launch the 'store' aka launcher/drm/social client), unlike EA ones

you dont install one for each game, there are only three & have been for years.. steam+origin+uplay, all of which have given free games so no money needs to be spent (or four if you count blizzard, or five hundred if you count MMOs, even some on steam)

plus you are likely to already have accounts since games in the past used them before these clients were made, alternatively gfwl is the same technical situation except instead of a user facing client, it's integrated into the games, but still runs a system service & account/social/achievement system

considering the games are the ones that take up space, or that OLD drm is the one that had weird system level drivers messing with your hardware, or the extra nice sale ubi had that let me cheaply buy steam & origin games, seems like you're missing out

Then again, all discussions on public forums are open to opinions pro and con, as long as they're voiced with civility. We could just as easily say we can decide for ourselves what we think of Uplay, without fanboys being overly defensive of it, and even trying to silence our distaste for it. At that point it's hardly a mere "suggestion" as you claim. You don't own threads you make, so you may as well get used to hearing the common complaints about Uplay, and anything else Ubi screws up for that matter.

Today is the day, but opening hour is 12 P.M. CET (23th Feb) that is midnight, right. 1 second before the 24th Feb. How nice!

Regarding ubiplay, it is not me, it is the users and readers that do not need ancient debates here. It is so old and repeating it is boring! They call it thread-hijacking, much worse than on-topic necro-ing. Thousands and thousands of people use search engines to find interesting threads all over the internet, but for sure not to find threads that do not stay on topic. All the information about ubiplay is out there already.
