LG Flatron W2443T => white screen

I've seen that some members have managed to fix this in the past. The screen is just white when I plug it to the power. Nothing changes when I connect it to the pc or try to access the menu. I read some threads, checked the connections, but seems that the problem persists!

Maybe someone more experienced than me can notice something on the board.

Try a different video cable, ill check yer pictures. you have a burn spot on the PCB under the transformer, careful they kick if touched wrongly. if you can find another transformer, needs to be same specs. Thats on the power supply, you might find one with same numbers on E bay or such.

Yeah I noticed that too, but would a bad transformer cause white screen?
If I recall correctly, the burn spot is there since a couple of years ago when I opened the same screen and replaced some caps.

Unfortunately, a new ribbon cable costs about $15-20 and seems it's gonna take a few days since it will arrive from ebay
