Will there ever be a RyZen 9 1900x?

From what we have seen the naming scheme, might there be a RyZen 9 1900/1900X with 10core/20threads or 12core/24threads. Kinda like intel's HEDT platform?

Maybe. Currently AMD Ryzen 3 series are true 4 core CPU that will most likely beat Intel's Core i3 7XXX and still cost less. Ryzen 5 1600X obliterates Core i5 7600K for 20$ higher price, while Ryzen 7 1800X should beat Core i7 6850K and offer performance closer to Core i7 6900K.

If AMD is about to beat Core i7 6950X, they'll most likely release 12 core variant. All this should end-up with a new CPU 20-25% cheaper and no less than 10% faster than i7 6950X, in order to gain attention from the targeted market. Since the targeted market for i7 6950X CPU's is very very small and most enthusiasts will more likely buy significantly cheaper 6900K, I somehow doubt that AMD will engage in such process in the near future without establishing a good market position with the existing Ryzen's.

But I'm pretty sure it's on the way. This comes from a non-AMD belieber ))

If not in desktop section, then at least it will be one of the new Opterons (maybe renamed into Opteryzen RX 1900X)
With current thermal packages I won't be surprised, if AMD will go as far as 16c/32t HEDT/Server CPUs.
