I'd avoid that cable. I bought one and had to ship it back because it wouldn't do anything above 1440p@60Hz.

I got two of them. One of which I ordered recently on Amazon. The one that came with the monitor is 1 meter long and works just fine except it's way too short.

The other one I got from Amazon is 10 feet but my monitor won't go any higher than 24hz with it?!

So yeah, I don't think they're "all 144hz compatible"
