Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

  • AMD R9-290X - On your average system the card requires you to have a 550~600 Watt power supply unit.
  • AMD R9-290X Crossfire - On your average system the cards require you to have a 800 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

Can i run this card on my Fortron FSP600-50ARN ?

PC Specs:
AMD FX-4300
2x8GB RAM DDR3
Micro-ATX
6fans
1 HDD

I'm running the following on a 650w Fractal bronze unit

i3 4160
4 x 8gb DDR3 1866
MSI z97 krait
R9 295x2 with the core bumped to 1125 each.
2 x 500gb WD black
2 x Adata SSD
1TB Seagate

With a custom loop watercooled unit. System has not had so much as a hiccup in the 12 months or so of daily use.

I dont see you having any real issue here.

Reading the specs, its enough for that combo for sure.

Would not worry.

Your PSU supplies 42Amps on the 12V rail, it should be fine.

You'll be OK with 600W PSU and a single card with your current specs. For Dual R9 290X's, R9 295X or similar GPU's i strongly recommend at least i5 3570K or FX 8320 and quality 80 Plus Gold 850W PSU.
