Here Asrock was nice enough to have a little fellow show you exactly how to do this step by step in a youtube video. They also have a text version.

I have a couple different slipstreamed installs with NVMe, USB and raid drivers all rolled in. They are cake to make and it is so much easier to deal with than adding drivers a later date.

I have a couple different slipstreamed installs with NVMe, USB and raid drivers all rolled in. They are cake to make and it is so much easier to deal with than adding drivers a later date.

so i used my current win7.iso to apply the asrock win7 patcher to... should i just burn it onto a new dvd since my usb flash drives aren't working properly, or?

edit: pardon for that noob question, but i had to ask since i wasn't sure.

i have also downloaded all the necessary files onto an internal drive that i will apply to my new pc, so i wonder how that will turn out...

USB flash drives will work fine once you have the USB 3.0 driver slipstreamed.

If you can see that drive then just load the needed drivers right off it.
All your after is the Ethernet driver to get back to the internet, then you can finish up from there.

I had a similar issue when I recently re-installed W7.

I solved it by re-flashing the motherboard BIOS.

UPDATE!

i finally got some time tonight to do the file transfers and such, and as revin and others pointed out, all i needed was to use an internal hdd, download the drivers, move the hdd to my new pc and install those usb and ethernet drivers from my new pc. it sure fixed the problems i've been having! im currently posting this from my new pc with win7, and it seems to be working quite well now!

just one last question... what sort of drivers am i missing here:

those appear to be chipset drivers.
