That's a nice looking block that deserves inverted mobo case just to admire the flowing liquid :)

It really is beautiful.

Did they forget that Founder's Editions have stock VRM's and no voltage enhancements?

Few Pascal cards allow voltage modding above FE levels. Also, the stock FE has better power regulation than the Titan XP.

Cheap! In terms of prices in Europe you can be ordered GTX1080Ti for 800 €. Well Inno3D (IChill,Gaming OC,TvinX2 )has replaced the cooler and set the price of all models at € 1,248€. For that difference in price you get the best possible liquid cooling completely. That is 450€ ower current price (GTX1080Ti 699€) 550€ from the announced prices. This version is to me definitely more pleasing than large brick air-cooling.

If it is anything like the GTX 1080 FE block, it re-uses the FE backplate directly. This does mean you may need different screws if going with a reference PCB but different cooler/backplate such as the EVGA SC.

I like the looks. but visited Phanteks website and it is horrible. "Shop" takes to "phanteks USA". They mix up 1080 and 1080ti... the "manual" link does nothing. No useful or serious info.

Nay. Will go to EK or others.

If you mean why does it overclock worse than the 1080, it's because it has so many more cores. More cores = less overclock. Just like CPU's. I mean look at it, 1080 has 2560 cores, this has 3584 - that's a lot of extra cooling required.

man nothing personal, but 130 for block ? with some junkie RGB lights? its far FAR to much.

That's actually not super expensive as far as gpu blocks go. The ek block is 150. Most special/custom card blocks are 150, so at 130 that's not that bad. It's not cheap no doubt about that, but it is a players game, pay to play. Still though, I'd get the ek. Original is better than all these wannabe ripoff blocks filling the market.

The EK block is about 100-115 €. You have to add at least 2 fittings and maybe a backplate (another 40€), IF and WHEN you already have a running watercooling system.

I don't know, but supose that in the beginning (or with all those limited edition variants like those made by EK), these things are partly machined by hand or maybe with computerized drilling, but not mass-made. Therefor the price seems right. The materials only are quite simple.
Once it becomes a global trend (more for the looks than for real hardcore OC, I believe), and they start to make them in China, a price this high seems not justified. My 5 cents.

two years ago i upgrade my crossfire gpus to water cooling setup, and i pay £70 for EK water block r9 290, + £20 for backplate, and still left some extra money for energy drink :))

now that I have been able to read their manual, it seems very complete.
