One needs to categorized genre of games. Noted that each game was made for its respective consoles/pc at the time so there will always be games with better graphic later on.
-RPG: Final Fantasy 7. None even come close in terms of game play and story line. Second: Chrono Trigger.
-RTS: Star Craft. Sweet, simple, and longevity.
-MMORPG: Wild guess here...War Craft
-Adventure: Oblivion
-PC Shooter: CS and BF2 (each is revolutionary and the best at the time of its release)
-Console Shooter: Halo. Don't even argue. Everyone knows about this game even people who do not game and part one is the shit! Hell there will even be a Halo movie.

bf2 for me as well, i am a big fun of other games, but the fun u have on bf2 is better lol, it is simply the best multiplayer game. along with cs but waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to many hackers on that game
