I'm only interested in modern settings, so I'm sitting this one out. I've got several CoD games that I still haven't played, so missing a release is no big loss for me.

I have to admit, my interest in a CoD game is far more piqued than it has been in years. I won't be buying any time soon, but I'll definitely keep an eye on it.

What I'd love to experience is some bizarre alternate reality WW2. Like the one in Wolfenstein Old Blood/New Order. I'm not saying there should be cyborgs and freaky stuff, but just the whole feel of being in Nazi occupied England was really interesting. And because you can make shit up, it has endless potential for story, locations and happenings.

1: Drop the crossover within platforms

2: drop the way to small maps

3: Drop the support for anything else but DX12/Vulcan and NO support for anything else lower than 1440

4: On PC make a long singleplayer part, multi sucks bigtime

I wouldn't mind seeing a WWII title that focuses on resistance forces. They never got the credit they deserved, and were a vital part of beating the Axis.

Except WaW was developed by Treyarch. This one will be done by Sledgehammer from what Acti has confirmed. Plus they're saying the focus is on hyper realism, yet 60 FPS performance, while keeping in mind the limitations of current hardware on PS4 and Xone. http://wccftech.com/sledgehammer-heating-call-duty-2017-focus-hyper-realism-60-fps/

That would tend to indicate optimization time spent on current consoles, but let's hope that also translates well to PC. We all know there's been a lot of crap PC ports lately.

That said, while WaW certainly wasn't as polished technically as some of the games in the franchise, it's gameplay was among some of the most challenging, and I liked that about it.

Not interested, CoD WW2 is something that won't work in this day and age. You'll get super agile soldiers that swing around their gun like they are superman (instant iron sight aiming, wonky recoil mechanics, totally unrealistic gunplay) doing that 'retro thing' with Ze Germans. It's going to be sooooo tacky.

Or, the other way around, you get a super slow CoD that doesn't play like a CoD and every 15 year old will hate on it, causing Activision to lose their main fan base.

This shit just isn't gonna fly. It already feels a bit weird in BF1 which is much more flexible in the way it handles agility on the battlefield (variation in classes, vehicles etc). Imagine it in CoD... no. Just no.

And on top of all that, it's CoD, I don't support that steaming pile in the first place
