Hi,
My brother in India is looking to buy a laptop but couldn't decide which CPU to go with (Intel or AMD).
He initially bought a HP with i5 7200u processor in it and the laptop died, HP refunded the money. Seems like most of that HP series have issues.
He bought the laptop for basic office use, email, you tube, home photos.
For that purpose I suggested Laptop with AMD 9600P APU, priced between Rupees 22000 to 30000.
i5 7200u based laptop costs from Rupees 48000 +.
Of course you can order the laptop without any OS and save some cash and use your own choice of OS.
He is also OK to go with 6th generation i5.
Is AMD 9600P a good option (he doesn't game). Based on online reviews it is considered similar performance to an i3.
Note: I am not sure if this the right place to ask questions about Laptop, please move to appropriate section if needed.
