Can Acronis be used to migrate an OS drive to a new drive or a even an external drive to boot from? I'm sorry for sounding like a noob but I just have an old drive that is from a dead computer that I would like to save the data from and still use. The drive works fine but I want to transfer it to a 2.5" laptop drive to use in a laptop.

If that is possible with this software then I would like the key if you would so kindly. Thank you.

Acronis allows you to mirror any drive to another as long as the partition is smaller than the destination drive. You can mirror a boot drive to another and it still contains it's boot sector. Now if you mirror a storage drive to another it still stays a storage drive. The only way you'll be able to use the external for booting is to mirror it to another drive then install windows on it.

I already had some claim the last key but keep an eye out for more since I ordered some more drives.
