A good chair is the ideal piece of equipment for every hardcore gamer or users who spends lots of hours in front of their PC. The noblechairs EPIC series looks quite interesting for the money it asks, offering good quality and great comfort.

Personally, since we recently adopted a small animal whose fleece is used to make various stuff, I hugely prefer PU Vegan or any other type of "fake" leather instead of the real one. It just has to be of good quality.

The gamer in me knows he won't sit on any type of leather during summer. A mesh backrest is way, way better.
Also, whenever you're buying a chair, reviews may help, but you absolutely must sit in it first.

True words right there. So much ass time spent at staples to find the right office chair, and it's rarely the most expensive. So very subjective.

That said, it's good to see such a variety of reviews here.

we are still thinking of which tests to perform :) Any input is highly appreciated since we have another chair in the pipeline.

I couldn't find any direct statistics that show % of population over 265lbs...but that would be a minority I would think. Granted 40% are in the obese range, but that includes all sexes/heights. Nice chair though I been looking for a new one. However I live in a very warm climate and wonder how it would handle above 75F. Not a great feeling sitting in a puddle of your own sweat.

I'm waiting for the RGB version.

That's a fairly typical weight limit for all chairs.

How about if the arm rest can be positioned so the top is level with the desk's top so your arm/elbow are supported properly when the rest of your body is sitting comfortably.

I find this is a big problem to achieve for a lot of chairs without e.g. the chair being too far out from the desk due to the arm rest contacting the desk too soon.

So basically record the time before your bum falls asleep sitting in the chair. Then you'll need a good day off before restarting the benchmark.

For the last proposition, I demand they hire a good looking model and lots of Hi-Res photos please. j/k ofc.

I think you missed the part where it only supports 120kg so two people on it will likely result in injury ....

Think about it for a minute. It doesn't actually have to support two people at the same time ;)

Aaaand now we've turned a thread about chairs into something interesting.

My gripe is that they only include the plastic casters. For the price it would be nice if they also included rubber casters for those with hardwood floors. So the buyer could choose wich ones to install. Since i have hardwood floor and im not a fan of carpets or "chair pads" i defenetly prefer rubber casters because they don't damage the floor and are much quieter. Thankfully i can buy a ones from amazon (just an example): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I0GE02E/?tag=tec06d-20

Any chance it is the Cougar Armour Gaming?
There's something about their color choices I like.

How tall are you, @crmaris? I'm 195cm, and I've so far found a lot of chairs to be slightly off. The one I'm sitting in now is pretty decent, but I wish I could slide the seat out more.

I am 1.80 but the chair has been used by other persons as well (from 1.60 to 1.85cm).
