Been a while since I was shopping for motherboards, and I am trying to piece together an upgrade centered around the Ryzen 5 1600 (non-X). It seems like the motherboards and RAM compatibility may be hit or miss at the moment, so if I could be steered in the right direction I would appreciate it. Some things I am looking for:
- $80-100 price range.
- Supports OCing. I will try and OC the 1600 to 4GHZ, so I want something that is stable.
- Any RAM recommendations? Cheaper is better as long as it does not sacrifice performance.
- Two M.2 SSD slots if possible.
- Don't need SLI.
- A good number of USB ports is welcome. MSI seems to be skimping on these lately?
- Enough fan headers for 5 or so case fans.
Any suggestions welcome. Not sure if all of those can be met on a single board in that price range, but something that ticks most of those off is worth looking into.
