A new feature we are planning here on TPU is a post every so often with the latest Ryzen related bios updates. This will happen more or less as significant updates happen, starting today. This is a starting post and will list all bios updates as of today. Future posts will include only the latest releases and reference this post.

This post will include the latest bios updates, which ones are "hot off the press" (new as of the past 2 days) and links to where to get them. As for the rest, I assume you know how to flash a motherboard.

Latest Bios versions are listed after product name (new releases as of the past 2 days are BOLDED.) Products are sometimes listed by model number, rather than retail name, depending on how the support website lists it. This keeps our news editors sane.

Today's edition includes a large number of ASRock updates, and a single ASUS Update to the Prime B350-Plus. All of them appear related to the AGESA Version string, with the exception of ASUS who claims improved memory compatibility for their board.

Bear with me for a few minutes while I tweak the formatting, but this here be good info guys. :)

EDIT: Done all I can for now. It still looks like a notepad mess, but it gets the job done. I will gladly accept feedback on how to make it prettier, but for now, we got Ryzen bios goodness up there.

Great idea! Congratulations!
It would be good some small information on stability and improvement clock. Users could also contribute tests.

This is just the start. As of now, we only have "official" releases. But beta bioses from all major manufacturers (as available) are being indexed as we speak for next release. (Will probably be ready in 2 days, give or take a day)

Ideally, I'd like to make the next release formatted better as well, as the current format:
a.) sucks
b.) does not really allow for beta versions alongside release versions

Eh, sucks may be harsh. But it definitely needs improvement... probably will use a table of some kind next time. Either way better to get the ball rolling on this now than wait until later, was the logic.

But yeah, I need to learn to beat up on myself less sometimes, heh.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend 1002 for the crosshair, not sure if it brought any benefits and it just made a mess of things.

this format would also be cleaner as far as readability goes until a table gets worked out:

example

ASRock:
2.00 - Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming
2.00 - X370 Taichi
2.20 - Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4- NEW BIOS!

Changes:
2.30 - 04/26/2017_2.20 X370 Killer SLI/a: Update Agesa Version string "SummitPI-AM4 1.0.0.4a" - NEW BIOS!
2.50 - 04/26/2017_2.30 Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4: Update Agesa Version string "SummitPI-AM4 1.0.0.4a" - NEW BIOS!
2.50 - 04/26/2017_2.50 AB350 Pro4: Update Agesa Version string "SummitPI-AM4 1.0.0.4a" - NEW BIOS!
2.10 - 04/26/2017_2.50 AB350M Pro4 : Update Agesa Version string "SummitPI-AM4 1.0.0.4a"
2.00 - AB350M

FTR, I had zero issues with the initial 0702 BIOS for the Asus CH6. I used QVL memory to get 3200 frequency and haven't tried any higher.
I moved to the 1002 again with no issues. I would like Asus to release a BIOS that reads CPU temp or to clarify if their temp is in fact accurate for Ryzen.

As for the layout @R-T-B , basic is fine. A table would be good but nothing else, more lights can make a Christmas tree look like a slut.

Maybe put this in a Google doc or similar and allow the community to add to it as new UEFI updates are released?

I'd have to run that by someone higher up. The official "digest" will likely never be community editable (we can't verify everything posted immediately, and that's a must), but maybe a google "reporting" doc would not be a bad idea. Can't say yet.

Yes, can point fingers saying my mem is not on the QVL(not much I could do about it other than buy the ram that's on there which I'm not because $$$ stupid ram prices) but it clocked to 3200 just fine before 1002, and boot numlock state setting didn't work, my password contains a lot of numbers so it got annoying real quick when halfway through entering my password that all the numbers are missing. The board became a demon possessed which prompted me to rollback.

That's really strange. I've had no issues at all with 1002 (not to discredit you, just to say not all users are having problems)

It does not matter on what OS its under Asus just needs to update their website because its silly to but the bios updates under every OS version.

Its should be like on Gigabytes site there is just the bios tab.

Just reading about this update (AGESA 1.0.0.4a)... The memory overclocking enhancements aren't going to be until the next one (1.0.0.5) in May, so don't waste loads of time looking for sick gainz. I'll flash to new bios tomorrow and just verify that.

Gareth Halfacree from bit-tech said:
As well as a fix for the FMA3 crash, Hallock detailed three additional enhancements due in AGESA 1.0.0.4: a reduction in DRAM latency by six nanoseconds, claimed to have a noticeable effect on the performance of heavily latency-sensitive applications; a fix for an issue with Ryzen chips reporting an incorrect CPU frequency when returning from S3 sleep mode; and the ability to run the Ryzen Master software without enabling the High-Precision Event Timer (HPET) feature of the chip. The update will be followed by AGESA 1.0.0.5 in May, Hallock continued, featuring improvements for overclocking DDR4 memory.

I managed to get hold of the BIOS 1106 version before it was removed again from the site. What I notice is that the frequence steps are now in even hundreds and the cpu-fan is no longer stuck at high speed after heavy duty.

the latest bios for the Asus Crosshair VI Hero is 1201Update AGESA code to 1.0.0.4a and improve system compatibility:toast:

for me the system is as it was before the update from 1002. the only difference is my front base no longer works. before it had part functionality and was good for temps volts and multi. I may rename the other bios and use bios flashback...

also DO NOT USE RGB LEDS STRAIGHT FROM THE MOTHERBOARD.

I was making a review and using the provided extention they became so hot, I could feel the heat as I moved my hand across them 10cm away. this was a definite FIRE HAZARD!!!!!!!!!!

when I plugged the rgb's into a usb controller they never even became warm...

I advise waiting for amd to fix aura first before modding you're case with rgb lights etc.
