We take a look at another high-end gaming chair, this time from Vertagear. It promises to take you through comfortable, hour-long gaming sessions and looks nice; however, its price is quite steep.

$600?? Yeah, I'll just go dig about in my local furniture recycle depot and give them $20-30 for the best one i can find.

Thank you, come again!

The Five Easy Steps...
1. Grab a chair from IKEA or some cheap Chinese office chair.
2. Add some red, green or blue paint.
3. Call it a "gaming" chair.
4. Multiply the price by 3, 4, 5, or more.
5. Laugh maniacally as gullible gamer-morons purchase it.

yes the price is stiff. I paid almost 600 euros back in the day for my Ergohuman, shown in this review, but I never regretted it. I still have this chair (which looks like new despite of the heavy use for 8 years now) and my back is fine. On the contrary I bought 5-6 other affordable chairs during this period for my lab and today none of them is alive. It depends on the priorities that you set. For people that spend lots of hours in their PCs a good chair is required.

Finally a chair with a functional form. Close to mine. Mesh is delicious in hot countries.
The colors, yeah, that's another story.....

In regard to quality chairs;

IKEA's "Markus" chair

http://www.ikea.com/dk/da/catalog/products/40103100/ (danish price = 170 dollars or so) (Find it in IKEA! :D)

Best chair to support my back and head to me for sure. Alot of streamers have it;

SUPER build quality (above gamingchair segment)

REALLY cheap compaired to what you get. (choose this over a few 500-600 dollars chairs)

Added IKEA have like 7 or 10 years warranty so you're pretty sure to have this for a long time! :D

My IKEA chair's fake leather is coming off everywhere. Lasted 2 years of intensive use. I wouldn't buy an IKEA chair again, and will not when I replace this one. It's also not as stable as you'd want, and I'm a pretty light person (75kg), imagine if you're a fatty.

That being said, it costed 80 euro, but I'd happily spend triple the amount to get a real, solid chair that lasts at least 10 years like it should. 600 bucks though... not in my baddest dreams.

Im pretty sure it isnt the markus then. it holds my bulk and manly body at 100 kg and the leather is real leather :) (only the headsupport part has wear after 6-7 years of use but besides that it is as new and the construction is sturdy as f***

Sometimes you get what you pay for and sometimes you don't. High end chairs with proper ergonomics and well thought out designs cost high prices. Any mesh chair will be better than a non-mesh unless you like sweating. Sure the price is high for a chair but think about chairs like this, there are Rolls Royces and there are Honda Civics(nothing against Civics, I own one).

But meshchairs are not that expensive! :0 As I remarked the 'Markus' seem to be of higher quality and only a fraction of the cost.

My point wasn't made considering only the fact that the chair is mesh haha. I'm not saying this chair is worth the money, it may be, it may not be. I'd have to buy one and own it for a while before deciding that.

Right up to EU's standards from recyclable materials. Since it's only 600$ without VAT, I'll take two immediately. Not!

I don't give even a second look at chairs with price tag over 90€/100$, because a good office chair for that price tag will be more than good.

Blue (handcrafted top grain calfskin leather) Top Grain HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH WTF is nothing but PU by any other name and is still not leather... So I don't get where this chair is actually worth $600 maybe if it was full grain calfskin leather but it isn't it's just the first .5mm which is glued to a Polyurethane base making it nothing more than PfuckingU

This is a paid product placement review. Popular twitch gamers are given these chairs in hopes of making some sales. The fact is none of these chairs offer anything more then a good office chair, except for the flashy colors. You want to spend $600 on a an excellent chair go buy a Herman Miller chair. Most of these "gamer" chairs use the same cheap ass parts that a $100 chair uses...but they wrap it all cool, attach "gamer" to the name and raise the price 600%.

It looks like this product didn't receive much love :roll:

Thanks for reviewing it though.

That's because too many people just post garbage. The people bashing this product haven't used it to know if it's good or not.

If it's $600 they should be using real leather not shitty PU
