In this issue of the Ryzen BIOS update digest, we have last week's latest updates. Our BIOS update digest lets you keep track of crucial BIOS updates that improve stability of your AMD Ryzen machine. As per usual, only updated BIOSes from the last digest are listed. Changes are listed after each BIOS, sans beta BIOSes which do not always include change logs. You can find it all below.

We have now moved to a "rolling-release" model for our digest to better track releases as they happen. Today we have some Gigabyte betas bringing AGESA 1006.

Special shout out to @toilet pepper for tipping our local news editor off to this release set.

What i needed, even tho missing "just" one crucial component - 1800x. lol Thought to myself this what'll happen eventually, kinda predicted y'know? That once AMD start bombarding with that Threadripper, will be the same time they'll refine/update the existing AM4 platform. My Gaming K7 waited really f*ckin long to get this love. Will you guys test R7s/5s with this update under both W7 & 10? How the 4000MHz scales in both OSes? I'll probably have the CPU by 10th of July & will test it myself given, just a lil impatient to see results early, y'know. :) :toast:

From what I can see, the gaming K5 is still waiting. I feel sorry for those people.

There are betas for the ASRock Taichi and FGP out now too. I've just installed the FGP L2.36.

Check the ASRock forum for download link(s)/some results.

I have Gaming K7, along with Ripjaws V 32GB DDR4 2400MHz, 2xGTX 760s from my current system, H105 & HX1000W from Corsair, basically most of the components are coming from current system, except for RAM, SSD (Samsung's 850 Pro SATA III), mobo (AX370 Gaming K7) & case (HAF X). Will cool down CPU (1800X) with H105 (will order AM4 bracket next week).

One PC store in my area has Trident Z 3600MHz RGB RAM n i don't know if these will OC any higher, say to 3800, let alone 4000MHz once non-Beta agesa 1.0.0.6 update is out. Also have no slight idea if Win7 start to act kinda dorky or not when the OC applied. Basically it's gambling with PC parts for me. lol

@nemesis.ie

The guy OC'd DDR4 3000MHz RAM to 3200MHz under the Beta 1.0.0.6 UEFI update, but it still defaults to DDR4 2133MHz? Thanx regardless, will read the link more thoroughly this weekend, that DDR4 4000MHz option looks yummy. lol Cheers. :toast:

At 1st boot the default is 2133. Setting XMP with L2.36 sets the XMP timings but the speed is 3200. To get higher, you have to select the memory speed drop down and pick your poison of 3333, 3466, 3600, 3733 or 4000. No 4133 yet. ;)

Thanks. These will go into tonight's digest. MSI did some beta releases as well, that's enough for an update post.
