In this issue of the Ryzen BIOS update digest, we have the latest updates. Our BIOS update digest lets you keep track of crucial BIOS updates that improve stability of your AMD Ryzen machine. As per usual, only updated BIOSes from the last digest are listed. Changes are listed after each BIOS, sans beta BIOSes which do not always include change logs. You can find it all below.

This is a comprehensive release covering the last 2 weeks during which this editor has been helping his father with recovery from cancer-related surgery, so a very personal thanks to everyone for their patience and support on that front. I will be updating this regularly going forward, so be sure and watch for future releases!

Just updated mine, got better on Memory OC Stability. but still no Manual V.Core SET (just a crappy dynamic VID)

@R-T-B I forgot to mention they fixed the V.core Adjustments in the Board: In the earlier BIOS (F5b and previous) if you set the v.core on the Ryzen master APP it would not change (increasing or decreasing), now its working fine.

Less than a month away from getting 1800X, by that time i bet F4e will become just F4. :) Hope to OC my 32GB 2400MHz Ripjaws V to 2666MHz with this update. :toast:

@R-T-B:

Good luck with recovery, for your dad. Cheers. :toast:

We're already through the tough stuff, but I really mean it when I say thanks to everyone here for the support on that front. You guys have been awesome. Oh, and of course a special shout out to w1zzard, for holding my job for me despite one set back after another. That man's a saint.

The least i could do R-T-B, my aunt's husband weren't so lucky for a lack of a harsher word with his leukemia in 2013, passed away quietly, so that's some consolation(?). Nasty f*ckin disease. Cheers man, good recovery to your dad & good luck.

P.S. Next upgrade - 16 or even 32GB DDR4 4000MHz HyperX Predator 2x8/16GB sticks, 4.0GHz on CPU deserves 4.0GHz RAM! Also fits the overall looks/aesthetics of my rig. :)

Thanks @R-T-B

Well, I still can't get beyond 3700mhz so I think this is roughly where the IMC runs out of steam (unless it's a board limitation with ground planes and shielding on the memory traces), but I'm pretty happy with running 3600mhz 14-16-16-34 1T without screwing with the base clock :D

Guess I have a BIOS update to install!

BIOS update on my Asrock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4 seemed to go well- memory was able to hit 3200 w/o issue where 2666 was the limit before :)

EDIT- looks looks it's using the XMP profile direct from the ram automatically
