Every single laptop runs that temperature. Those chips are rated to 100C before they even throttle. No it wont damage anything. that is normal.
It isn't even hot that is perfectly 100% normal. Those temps are substantially lower than max temp for that chip and it is even still walking into turbo just fine at that point.

cooling solution on that must be pretty bare-bones if a 7700hq and 1050ti are approaching 90c
this is why we don't buy budget end gaming laptops folks

It'll have a huge dollop of generic thermal paste too most likely, but I 100% agree with everyone else about this being perfectly normal. Don't worry about it, just enjoy your games

The temps you have stated above are normal if you are gaming with ambient temperature of 35+ degrees Celsius other wise I would say they are higher than they could be. One a laptop cooler pad will help. two download and install the ROG Gaming Center https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-GL553VE/HelpDesk_Download/
Under Utilities. Then when you are gaming use the Software ROG Gaming Center to up your Fan speed to 100%. Then make sure you have Vsync enabled. Also be sure that you are not blocking any of the fan vents! Good luck because unless it is 95 + Fahrenheit in your gaming room you should be seeing better cooling capabilities. I have a a ROG with a i5 6300HQ AND 960M and never seen it get that hot unless its about 100 degrees Fahrenheit when trying to game!

Your CPU is not overheating but it is running hotter than it needs to run. Intel has set the default CPU voltage way too high on their 7th Gen Kaby Lake processors. If you want to reduce your CPU temperatures, do a Google search and learn about undervolting. You can use Intel XTU or ThrottleStop. Reducing your CPU Core and CPU Cache voltage by approximately -100 mV will make your laptop a lot more friendly to your lap. Intel uses extra voltage so they can guarantee long term stability but it is not needed, especially in a mobile CPU.
Edit - An undervolt of up to -150 mV is not out of the question for a 7700HQ.
