Is there any sense to start new project and what PSU form-factor I should use?

Should I make a new chassis?

Hello everyone!
A few years ago, when I moved out to different city, I realize, I cannot take my PC (Tower) with me. It was my second my own PC, with Core i3-550, 4*2GB 1333MHz, Palit 560 Ti 1GB and so on. It was good enough, I liked it back in days.
But Tower was huge (40L volume) and weight about 20 kilos. All I can take with me - 1 gym sport bag (big one) and it's all.
So I made a chassis from old radiophone's base station. Installed 175x220 mobo, CPU, CPU fan, GPU via flex riser, TFX PSU (installed in this way, so fan not on the top, but on the side. So, foundation of PSU is 65(70)x175mm side). Total size is 300x250x90mm, about 7L volume and 4 kg weight
My project has a few flaws:
1) In some configurations of mobo, there are very tigh installation mobo+PSU. So tight, that latch on 24+4 pins prevent installing PSU, because latch is located on outer side of motherboard.
2) Generally, there are almost none TFX PSUs, which have PCI-E power supply.
3) Almost none TFX PSUs, which comes within 80+ Cert (I know only Seasonic TFX and 1 Chieftec GPF-350P Most of TFX PSU are OEMs.
4) Even with 2 molex-> 1 PCI-E adapters, my GPU installed in such way, that power connectors available only in back of GPU. If power connector located on side, the connector is blocked with chassis
5) Max length of GPU is limited with 240mm.
P.S.: photo is old, now mobo installed on screws.

Hi and welcome to TPU. I am not sure what do you mean by "start a new project", but there are plenty of cases out there now, that will cover exactly your needs. Do you insist on building your own chassis? You can an easily grab Fractal Design's Node 202 or Silverstones solutions, if cash is not a problem

First, thank you for your reply. Second, there are very few solutions which are compact, slim (preferable) and full aluminium (mind it, it should be portable, I cannot spend 4 kg just for steel case). My build with all components AND the custom chassis weights slightly more than 4kg now.
Compact, slim, aluminium and allowing to install GPU = those solutions tend to be very expensive. Like Dan A4-SFXv2. With shipping, this case cost more than all my PC components. Because I'm young alumni, I cannot spend a lot of money.

But for 4kg you need to choose your hardware too
