Windows 10 PC Crash when starting Steam and open GPU-Z

hello guys i actually have the problem when GPU-Z is open and i start steam my hole pc freeze and i need to hold power to restart him..

when i close GPU-Z and open steam everything works perfect even opening GPU-Z after steam is open..

i didn´t had the problem before updating to Windows 10 build 14393.351 but with this build there also came 2 other updates

my pc is an i7 6700k with a GTX1070 Asus Strix and 32 GB Ram

my Nvidia driver is 373.06 but also tested it with 375.63 same shit happens

starting origin and uplay works perfect with gpu-z open pc only crash when opening steam

tested it again today after the windows update to build 14393.447

failure seems gone dont know if it was the windows update or a steam update itself who fixed it i will report again if the failure comes back

have the same problem now again with version 2.0 pc freezes when starting steam with version 1.20 everything works perfect

May I suggest you look at the PSU for under voltages on all rails. I am in the process of RMA on a Corsair HX850 that was giving low voltages and Steam was crashing since November 2016 and it took a long time to diagnose as it only crashed in Steam. Windows 7 installation became corrupt so I switched to W10 and problem still occurred. My 3.3v = 2.9v and showed up red in the Bios. 5.5v= 4.49v and 12v = 11.29v.

it was definitely not my pc with version 2.1.0 its again fixed it was only with 2.0.0 so good work
