Getting out of watercooling, what to get for a CPU Heatsink?

See my system specs. I've had a watercooled rig since 2002 or so, the first being a Koolance PC2 case.

I'm going to replace the HAF 932 with a Rosewill Challenger (it'll be my 4th Rosewill case, lol) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003YVJJ5Y/?tag=tec06d-20

Question: What to get for a very good Heatsink and Fan for my trusty 3570k? I will be putting the lid back on it. Really didn't make much difference in temp with it on vs. off.

Noctua NH D15 excellent cooler. My Corsair water cooling crapped out and I UPGRADED to this. Amazing cooler. Quieter than my corsair unit and keeps 6600k at around 26c.

i find AIOs to be much easier to deal with than giant heatsinks... they're techincally 'Liquid' but its nowhere near the hassle of watercooling.

Didn't see that bit- at 7.48" wide that case is pretty much limited to 120mm tower coolers, 140mm ones won't fit.

I recommend the Cryorig H7 on a budget and I've really liked my Noctua U14S with single and dual fans for years now. Both are excellent coolers...the Noctua clearly being more capable but both did not disappoint!

I have found the H7 to be more effective than the 212EVO, better memory clearance due to the offset and also maintains a lower overall height which makes it nice for smaller case builds that still need competent air cooling. If height isn't an issue, the Noctua is solid... or go the smaller U12S as a good option. I steer clear of the huge double tower coolers at this point...but in a comparison I read years ago, it did seem the U14S competed with the old D14 dual tower bruiser so that is some food for thought.

Considering the clocks you run, I'd tend to sway more towards the Noctua solution. Has kept my Haswell 4790K cool before and after delidding, both at 4.8Ghz speed. I used ot see 70-75C before delidding, leaving 25-30C before thermal throttle, and now I see 58-63C after delidding. Keep in mind my ambient in the basement is around 68F.

Instead of the 212's, the CRYORIG H7
I recently got to use the following two and was impressed, although the mounting wasn't that great:
CRYORIG H5 Ultimate (best to take the motherboard out, I used a mechanic's mirror!)
be quiet! SHADOW ROCK SLIM Silent Wings (and it's on sale) (the reviewers who talk about having to handle multiple parts at the same time aren't installing it correctly)

Or the Rosewill Rise chassis. Plenty of room inside of it and it's a pleasure to build in. I have two of them.

Thermalright HR-02 Macho B/W 2.0 and give Noctua a good ride for their money .... 45chf a Macho or 65+ for any Noctua ... i know where i would go again if i dropped my H115i (or even Raijintek, Alpenfhön, Scythe or eventually Phantek although a bit pricey)

i never go pass the fact that Noctua priced their heatsink that much above other concurrent that have exactly the same efficiency

May I suggest you go off the beaten path. I have just finished outfitting the entire house with these Enermax T40F. 200w TDP of cooling power, 3 times easier to install than that 212 from CM, and sleek looking, whether you get black, white or the normal copper and aluminum:

Not wanting the LED fan that came with it, I settled on one also by Enermax (Twister Pressure UCTP12P) that is quiet and excellent for pushing air through a heatsink:

It has been excellent with overclocked i7-3820 as well as my i7-3770k. You'll have no trouble with a 3570k.

140mm fan on the top and an 120mm outlet fan on the back. The side has an inlet mesh as well and can mount 2x 140mm or 120mm fans

The Corsair 400C is another good option...I have the 600C inverted case which is awesome but if I ever downsize it'll possibly be the 400C. The 600C was the easiest case I've ever worked in on all aspects. It is big and roomy and has excellent airflow. I can keep all fans on low speed (has a built in fan speed controller) and achieve the CPU temps posted above. Keeps things quiet when idle, and not too shabby under load for air cooling. The wife doesn't mind and she hates white noise from fans.

Nice looking case, though I need at least 3 front bays (optical drive + 2 bays for my hot-swap cage)
