GTAV wont launch for me at all today......AB on or off

id like to see if anyone else can replicate this issue. simply by running MSI-AB then launching GTAV. I noticed it a year ago or so. just really annoying tbh, since i can just launch AB after i have gotten into GTAV.

I always have afterburner running, no problems here.
I got the Steam version.
GTA V works fine for me.

I also do not have any issues with AB, even using OSD in any part of launching or running GTA.

it turned out that it is an issue others have experienced, and I found the answer. Rivatuner server was outdated, and once updated to the current beta, the issue ceased to occur

Was thinking the same, especially since this franchise was built on story mode.

I like online sometimes, but most of the time the mischief and trouble you can get into and setting up things just cannot be done online as.. many players are arseholes. So, yeah, more single player content would be great, but I am going to redo the story mode.

Edit: After testing, it doesnt seem to work for the steam version unfortunately. Only option seems to be to wait for the ScripthookV update.

Edit 2: Some more advanced modder picked this up and created a Steam bypass version.

After 3 weeks of no GTA i have uninstalled Rivatuner and now the game will launch....thank fuck for that.

Has the game changed in any significant way over the past 12 months or so? I know there were several updates with new questionable content, but were there any major changes? (new game modes and some new cars don't really count).

Nope its the same crap as always. Fake content. I'd rather we get some single player rather than Shark Card consumables.

Bleh. I stopped playing out of pure disgust from Rockstar not giving even half a fuck about dealing with the amount of cheating (though I admit to accepting modded money on several occasions after some months of trying to make some legitimately, which in the end didn't get me enough to buy just one of the expensive cars), and general lack of interest in fixing and improving shit.

I am currently downloading it anyway, because I just want to take a look at my garage and perhaps try the singleplayer with mods this time. But I honestly expected at least _something_ decent to happen with the game.

I have over 1000 hours of modded SP play, and I wont ever touch the online non sense, every other game I enter has hackers ruining the servers anyway. You might as well call the game Loading Screen Auto 5. Litterally out of the maybe 5 hours of online I have played 2 - 3 hours were spending time finding games that didnt work out, and waiting in lobbies for usually trolls to ruin your missions. Ill just enjoy SP imo. Just my experience.

I'm going to buy my weight in shark fart cards, then ill be unstoppable, because these day, why play the game your parents paid $60 for to get items/better? When you can just buy/hack for it

Tried some 4K DSR gameplay on my 1440p G-Sync monitor yesterday, surprisingly it went very well!!
I got over 60fps at very high settings the time I tried it, FXAA on , no AA, post fx normal.
Not bad at all for a i5 6500 + GTX1070!!

Nah you gotta look at this the Rockstar way: they finally created the ultimate Grand Theft game, and the player is the subject.
