So I have been told that the 1080 Duke is really just a gaming X card. I will confirm this later in the week when I remove the cooler and install a water block on it, but I was wondering if I could possibly flashing the gaming X bios to the duke card I have to get more performance? Because this isn't a popular card, I was wondering if maybe there was more of a power limit put on it or anything. I am not an expert at this so I can upload the information I get from GPU-z, but at the same time if I am reading it correctly, the duke card would be more powerful than the gaming X. Please give me your thoughts on whether this would work and even if I would gain anything out of it. Currently, I get somewhat good temps, 70s and I cannot push core past its stock. I only got 200 on the memory. I have seen others say they can push past 2ghz. I don't know if I just got a bad tomato or if the card has something going on in bios.
I will post pictures of my card gpuz info and bios information. The other bios is for a 1080 Gaming X. I could not find a vbios for gaming Z. Webpage for it is

They actually have quite a few 1080 Gaming X vbios
If anyone has done this sort of thing before, let me know what you think.
Thanks
