Wondering if anyone can help.
I have just upgraded from 980ti & acer 144hz gsync (1920x1080) - 1080ti & Acer x34a 100hz gsync (3440x1440)

Tried playing on FIFA 17 and get a lot of screen tearing or motion blur, tried pretty much every setting in the FIFA settings before launching the game.

I never used to get this on my previous components stated above.

Is there anything else I can try.

Thanks

just the basic's really, made sure gsync is enabled (which it is), made sure it's on 100hz refresh rate, and tried different settings in FIFA launch settings.
That's all I can think of at the mo.

what other vsync modes are there?

and in game over 200 fps, I don't know how to cap it, I have tried in the FIFA launch settings but doesn't seem to work.

ok I have seemed to have sorted it I changed the vsync from "use 3d application settings" - "fast", this seemed to make the game a lot smoother.

Well, if the game gets over 100fps and you have Gsync enabled it will use Vsync and not Gsync.
I don't have Gsync. But What I would do is download Nvidia Inspector and set a global framerate limit at about 97-98fps. This way it cant go over 100fps and force the very laggy Vsync.
With gsync if your fps goes over your monitor refresh rate then the monitor will kick into vsync and lock itself at 100Hz until the fps drops below 100 again.
