Man I remember type 20 and whatnot... That's what you had to enter in the BIOS...for the HDD... By the time I had a 286 initial formats was done in the BIOS...

I remember installing Wing Commander like it was yesterday.... On a 42mb HDD...

I remember trying to get a mouse, a sound card and a CD-ROM working for WC 2... That's a lot to fit in 640k when you needed 590k for the OS because they didn't have upper memory management yet....

The "dirt/elements" the guy is talking about is most likely decades of adhesive that leaked off the tape into the box.
