GTX 1070 FastSync and Vsync Question

Hi , i am noob in this forum and dont know too much about VGA right now .. My rig is I5 6500 + GTX 1070 Windforce + 16GB DDR4 2133mhz . I have a monitor 27 inch 2560*1440p 60hz ( not gsync ) , so i enable in the nvidia panel FastSync ON ( i dont know is this is right ) , and in the game i enable the fastsync and play all in 1440p in ultra ... This config is good ? I mean nvidia fastsync on and ingame Vsync ON , because i see that in Nvidia Panel there is another option called Adaptative Sync . In gears of war 4 i get 60 fps all the time but sometimes the fps drops nearly 45-50 fps for abouts a seconds ... Thanks

Leave fast sync on, and turn vsync off in games. Fast sync works by rendering every fram as normal, but does not output any frames above your monitor's refresh rate.

But for example in gears of war, if i have 60/90 fps , sometimes 60, sometimes 75, sometimes 90/95 this is better than enable vsync and get 60 stables fps for example? I only play in 1440p in ultra
