So you agree? If I buy for myself I should be treated like dirt? But what if a company like Asus buys it by the hundreds... They should be treatd decently?

I know that democracy doesnt exist but... I'll shut up now.

Just let them know that you're a long time member of TPU and that you'll be posting on there about your experience as well as on your social media to let everyone else know to avoid the company.

They might not care a the end of the day but it might get you somewhere. TPU is a fair big tech site after all and many people browse our forums and read our reviews so i guess we have a fairly big foot print out there.

Except EA would truly not care one bit. :)

But I agree , smaller businesses like this can be threatened this way to improve their services.

Unfortunatly yes, all I can do is rant about it lol, I laught now but it's not funny, at all! being the ordinary Joe or the megacorp, we should all be respected the same way, I may have less, but my cash is equal to there's.

Problem is, this approach may backfire on you, I did the politicaly correct thing: Talk to them, failled so talked to PayPal, they were very dilligent and sorted it.

Now, if anyone, and I do mean ANYONE, asks me for reference on a place to get water cooling parts, there's no way in hell I'll advice that store to them, I've build rigs for many years now and I've never seen that kind of behavior from a store before... It drives people off!

We have similar ( and even cheaper! ) prices in the UK, so I'll be buying elsewere.

How is it going to backfire on me? There are retailers that i used to do business with but dont anymore and stopped recommending them as well as warning others about their shoddy practises and its never backfired on me. What are they going to do? Sue and take me to court for slander and defamation?

Sure! I'll go to court but I'll make sure each and every day i spend out of work dealing with their case is paid for with extra ontop for the inconvenience. Its going to cost them a lot more money then its going to cost me so im fine with it.

Don't want people to chat shit about your company? Then don't offer people shitty service.

No company will be dumb enough to take a random average joe to court over such things

True all that but that wasnt my point, it can backfire when it comes to waranties and all that but hey, if they do try and burn you, they're adding fire to there name so it helps aswell, problem is some companies will do it just the same ( been there ).

Nevertheless my ordeal is over, desk mod almost done ( just needs some bits here and there ) and I can juice up my games to ultra without even breaking a sweat :nutkick:

Happy camper now!

Ive never had that. And if they did then it would be illegal and something that would be worthy of taking up with a snall claims court. When you buy stuff from them. They are required by law to RMA your faulty goods if its within a certain time period

£300 discount as in partial refund or money off next purchase? If its a partial refund take it. providing there is nothing wrong with the chiller itself. If its money off next purchase then send it back for a full refund. Unless you purchased it when they were advertising it as B-grade or open box then it should be a completely new and untouched unit.

They don't even reply to my emails, person on Facebook said they were setting up the pickup for my parcels however have not heard anything since. Firstly they expected me to place all the parcels onto a pallet and strap them down which requires equipment I do not own, finally the man on the phone by the name of Andrea I believe said he would arrange it per item pick-up.

Obviously I'm not going to pay anything when they messed up sending me a used product, as much as I appreciate their offering a discount I'd like my full order refund for the entire order and be done with it without having to file a dispute against them.

I've ordered from them and received a used product with scratches, they offered a £300 discount however I'm still leaning toward returning everything as it was a £1300
Did you order it from Germany?

Just get some gaffer tape or 'strong' rope from poundland. I would get your payment details ready because im expecting it to be an uphill struggle for the refund after they received the shipment back. Something tells me they are going to drag out as much time as they can before processing your refund. hopefully you havent thrown away the pallet it arrived on.

£1296 is around €1,443

First
- I am wondering why they charged you that much considering the Chiller's price is €959,80

Second
- Did you read the description of the Chiller?

£1296 for a Chiller that cant cool below 20c is money wasted.

I don't do online shopping a week before and after Christmas season. Too many delays and accidents during that period.

This, its the worst time of year. A bit like going on holiday within the peak season.

But yeah, be merciless to the point and honest and you will win in the end. It may take time but you will win and every day a conflict exists it can damage a company reputation. Their loss, really..,

Did you read his posts? He said parcel's', plural. He probably ordered multiple items for a whole loop.
For the signs of usage, it has been used by aquatuning themselfs for testing the unit so it might even still have some water left in it. Those things are just rebranded and slightly modified chinese brand chillers you can find on ebay for much cheaper and modify yourself if you would be into that. Original part costs ~300$ from china, you need to add the pump. Search for industrial waterchiller, used for cooling laser equipment.

EDIT: You can find similar models under the CW-5200 product name / line, even has the same pump in it. Might have to search around a bit to find similar specs. However shipping from china will be expensive.
