This is what the title says! I just pre-ordered mine yesterday. Even got a hold of the "Project Scorpio" edition. Anyway I would like to keep this first post updated with all the latest goodies. Please feel free to contribute anything topic related! Right now I'm looking for what games are enhanced and with what they are enhanced with.

I'd like to have one, but unfortunately it's a bit expensive to buy as a novelty, especially when I have a high end gaming PC with hundreds of games and a PS4 Pro for online gaming of Rainbow Six Siege with my friends.

Oh and I have an Xbox One S that I got as a freebie with a subscription, too.

Isn't all XBOX exclusives now going to be coming to Win10 as well or has MS backpedaled on that? Other than HDR and convenience idk why anyone would buy one if they already have a PC. MailMan and Durvelle, I would love to know both your reasons for getting one?

I doubt the NHL and MLB games will ever be playable on Windows 10.

I don't think you can pre-order in Canada yet.

Because I cant build a computer to those specs. for that price? Plus I am tired of fighting GPU makers and their crazy prices. So I decided to take a break from PC gaming and go console for a while. Also in all honesty PC games are just ports anymore. Crappy ports at that. Why would I fight with drivers, OS updates and all that other crap just for a port when I can just get the same exact thing on a console.

RE7 really opened my eyes. I was hardly getting 20 FPS on my rig. My Xbox One S was smooth as butter. I'm not gonna spend 600 bucks on a GPU to get the same experience I have on my 250 dollar console. It makes zero sense.

I'm having a hard time convincing myself to buy another Xbox One... I'm still using my old trusty 1080p plasma so I don't need it for that, yet.

I wouldn't refute that, console gaming is by far the cheapest route to go.

They make a new Xbox that doesn't fail all the time and instead make a weak one, another weak one, then a good one so you buy 3 in a few years time.
If they need to update it that regularly use expansion slots, if it's not a case of money it's a case of environmental waste.

I'm still skeptical how many games will really get true KB/M support. It might end up being mostly just MS published ones. If that's the case I would have no interest whatsoever in it.

Really? You didn't see that RE7 was one of THE worst coded games made? Hardly a good example to base such a decision on.

We all know that some devs cave to the whims of console manufacturer's, and it's certainly something Capcom would stoop to. The smart devs know PC still matters. Capcom have always had crappy graphics and prefer to cater to consoles and gamepads though. If that's the kind of games you lean toward, there's really no need to own a gaming PC.

Same result, just different reasons. I'm just clarifying the reality of the situation. I liken the console industry to cable TV, with the "cord cutters" whom boycott it being the PC gamers. Eventually the cord cutters will get what they want. They've already changed the mindset of even the biggest content providers.

Really? You didn't see that RE7 was one of THE worst coded games made? Hardly a good example to base such a decision on.

Why was it poorly coded? What evidence of that do you have other than what I just stated? Links?

Simply because games with equal but more often better graphics run much better. Don't really need to over complicate it.

Resident Evil 7 on PC isn't a bad port IMO, it's just VRAM hungry, sucks that you only got 20fps in it MailMan, on my old GTX 960 it played it fine at medium settings around the 60fps mark, now with my RX 480 at max settings 1080p it uses about 7.8GB of VRAM & the textures don't even increase in quality, just the draw distance does & less texture pop in.

I'm thinking of getting an Xbox One X but rather get a 4K TV first.

Thanks to miners and ports it makes zero sense to get a PC for gaming currently. Maybe when Star Citizen is done ill come back. Until then I'll enjoy the games instead of ports.

I don't need no stinking evidence. It's not hard to see the graphics are mediocre and performance abysmal. The 2 combined mean very poor optimization, and it's not like that is surprising coming from Capcaom. I'm sorry, but I'm not about to try and prove the obvious for a few whom can't see what is plain as day. I also don't see the point of your defending them since you're complaining about poor performance more than anyone here.

And the Xbone series incorporates itself into a home entertainment center with ease...
My cable box is connected to my Xbone via HDMI 1.4...my Xbone is connected to my 4k receiver via HDMI 2.0 and my receiver is connected to my 4k TV via HDMI 2.0....
I then setup the Xbone to control that stuff and unless I'm actually playing a game I control it all with a Inteset 422 remote...
ONE REMOTE TO CONTROL THEM ALL... Lol
If playing on a couch the viewing distance to a TV makes every single PC graphical advantage moot.

And I have yet to see Rock Band and games like it released on PC.
