My Apologies. Apparently my Newegg filtering on my phone that normally stays in place went missing, and I was looking at marketplace prices in their too.

Since I hadn't visited in awhile it was a big difference. A check of some other sites might have shown me a more realistic picture.

Well you are not completely wrong though. There was quite steep price spikes in June-July and I don't think stocks are still up-to where they used to be. It's quite clear when you look price trend of some popular graphics card i.e. Zotac amp!s.

Nah you can keep them. Price premium over vanilla 8Gbps versions is not worth it for gaming anyway.
