The original thread with title 'Unknown info after 17.7.2 Radeon drivers' had over 1000 of views, so I believe it is a common issue many have and are troubled by.
Thus, I am sharing info on the new WHQL drivers AMD released recently, which fix the issue - at least for me!
NOTE: The separately released different branch of AMD Radeon drivers - Beta for RX Vega - also fixed the issue, but is Beta and not WHQL. That Beta was version 17.30, with file name of: win10-64bit-radeon-rx-vega-software-17.30.1051-b6-aug7.exe
Despite being Beta for RX Vega, it works fine on other Radeon cards of mine too, such as R9 290/R9 390/RX 480/etc.
The latest version is named: radeon-software-crimson-relive-17.8.1-win10-64bit-aug18.exe
The release dates of both can be seen in the 2 file names above.
Download link+info about this latest WHQL driver for 64-bit Windows OS is here, please:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows 10 - 64
Hope this can help many who have the GPU-Z/other apps info missing issues with the older 17.7.2 drivers.
