What do you think guys is the ideal or optimal viewing distance for watching movies? My monitor is 23’’ ASUS MX239. Resolution is 1920x1080.

Is 1,5m too far?

It depends on your Eyesight
As long as you can See the Small Details comfortably and without eyestrain then i expect its fine
